Service Description

ACS provides services that support individuals in maintaining a healthy and functional lifestyle. We have fostered an environment that promotes happiness, independence, health, safety, relationships, and community inclusion by nurturing self-confidence, advocating for healthy habits, facilitating meaningful life choices, and encouraging community engagement. Our Adult Day Services include: • Assisting individuals during mealtimes • Aiding individuals with personal hygiene • Emphasizing healthy living (nutrition, weight, and overall well-being) • Indoor/Outdoor Games • Bingo, puzzles, word searches • Art • Crafts • Cooking • Movie screenings • Flower & Vegetable Gardening • Birthday Celebrations • Excursions • Special Guests (such as Singers, Musicians, Storytellers) • Aerobic exercises • Walking Trails • Monitoring weekly weight and blood pressure upon request • And much more... We, also have a Homemaker Personal Care program. Our Residential Services for Homemaker Personal Care Services is a continuation of personal care assistance at the individual’s residence. It includes assistance with: - Feeding - Meal preparation - Bathing - Dressing - Personal hygiene - Light housekeeping - Bed making - Personal laundry - Errands, medical appointments, and budget management - Shopping and recreation - Out-of-town travel assistance - Other activities of daily living
